Subhadra Yojana: Focus on high form rejection and under-applied areas

Deputy Chief Minister Parvathi Parida has given a big information about the Subhadra Yojana that the Subhadra verification will be completed within the next 15 (fifteen) days. According to Mrs. Parida, “Verification of all the forms applied for is going on, and those who are eligible will definitely get the Subhadra money.” So far, more importance is being given to the places where there have been fewer applications and more rejections. She said that more focus is being given to the tribal areas. According to her, since there have been more form rejections in Malkangiri, Gajapati, Koraput, the CDPOs have been given the responsibility of verification in those areas. She informed that their problems will be resolved soon and they will be given money in the fourth phase.

In the first phase, the applicants have faced a lot of problems due to server down. The Dangaria Kandha women living in the Banda tribal areas of Koraput and Malkangiri districts and the Ngalagiri hills of Rayagada district have also not been able to access the Subhadra Yojana so far. The women of these areas do not seem to have applied properly in the Subhadra form. And among those who have applied, none of them have linked their Aadhaar with their bank accounts and none of them have updated their KYC, due to which their forms have been rejected. Therefore, the CDPO has been given the responsibility to resolve all these problems. The Anganwadi workers of the area are going from village to village to sensitize the women and make them update their KYC.
